Live Hacking of a Company - In the Minefield of the Internet
Every day, companies are attacked by hackers, and not infrequently with success: systems are infected, data stolen, and companies extorted. Attackers are not only targeting internet giants like Yahoo or Dropbox; medium-sized companies are also lucrative targets. The reason for the hackers' success is often clear: poorly secured systems and careless operation provide many entry points.
Via live hack, Andreas Sperber, the CEO of aramido, shows how attackers penetrate systems and steal data. It becomes clear that information security must be ensured in all areas, as hackers also proceed in multiple stages during their attacks. To be prepared for this type of threat, the speaker presents four theses for tomorrow's information security.
The live hacking presentation takes place on February 7, 2018, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Innotec Pforzheim as part of the lecture series IT AFTER WORK organized by WSP Pforzheim. Admission is free, free registration at kevin.lindauer(at)ws-pforzheim.de. Further information about the venue and arrival can be found here.Speaker
