Network Security

Effective measures to keep communication in your network secure.

What does Network Security mean?

Network security encompasses all technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of and in networks. This includes, for example, defining policies for network participants, conducting security awareness training, configuring firewall filters, or establishing encrypted communication. The goal is to fend off attacks on communication within the network, so that the confidentiality and integrity of transmitted information is maintained and the necessary availability is achieved. The numerous attack possibilities on network protocols or the network structure as such require different security measures or measures that at least mitigate attacks. So-called DDoS attacks have already frequently made the news, with which online retailers are extorted during peak sales periods by overloading their systems.
