Live Hacking

Watch professional hackers over their shoulder.

Types of Live Hacking Presentations

Live Hacking for Everyone

This presentation is aimed at a broad audience without technical prior knowledge: a malicious competitor wants to seize information about your company through industrial espionage. In doing so, they use social engineering techniques (manipulation and deception) and exploit security vulnerabilities. The target of the attacks is standard office IT such as smartphones, laptops, and USB sticks. In a man-in-the-middle attack on a Wi-Fi network, it is also shown how easily attackers can spy on and manipulate information.

Live Hacking for Developers

The target group for Web Application Live Hacking is developers and other IT staff. The presenters allow the audience to watch over their shoulder during a penetration test and demonstrate how they find and exploit security vulnerabilities using an example application (web shop, content management system, blog, or other collaboration platform). In addition to the most common attacks from the OWASP Top Ten list, such as SQL injections, XSS, and CSRF, lesser-known attacks are also shown. Finally, it is demonstrated how a web application becomes unreachable via a DoS attack.

Public Live Hacking

Live hacking presentations are popular keynotes at public events. The presentations have an infotainment character and not only convey knowledge about the cross-cutting theme of IT security but are also extremely entertaining. As an event presentation, aramido live hacking can take place as part of an evening event, trade fair, conference, or congress. Follow the event announcements to stay informed about public live hacking appearances.

Internal Live Hacking

As a company training, live hacking ensures that your own employees are effectively sensitized to IT security. By demonstrating attacks via phishing or Trojans in Office documents, IT security threats are vividly illustrated. Employees are emotionally addressed and also learn how they can protect themselves effectively. In this way, they receive practical tips for the individual live hacks, for example, for secure passwords.

What can I expect from a live hacking demonstration?

Content

In a live hacking presentation, hackers demonstrate live how they penetrate applications and systems. For legal reasons, no third-party systems are attacked.

Speakers/Languages

The speakers are professional white hat hackers and therefore know what they are talking about. The presentations can be held in German or English upon request.

Duration

The duration of the live hacking can be designed according to your requirements. Typical presentations range from 20 to 180 minutes.

Materials

The speakers bring their own laptops and other required equipment. The only requirements for the rooms are power and a projection screen. Ideally, two screens and two projectors would be available. Additionally, headset microphones are helpful for larger rooms.

  • Sensitize for IT security
  • Experience realistic attacks
  • Learn concrete protective measures

Do you want to experience IT security up close? Live hacking presentations are the highlight of any event. We are happy to accommodate your individual wishes and requirements.
